MUTES <br />ity Council <br />May 23, 1935 <br />Thunder Bay <br />2nd Addition <br />(Cont.) <br />Highway <br />Dept. <br />Property <br />Agenda <br />Addition <br />off of Payne Avenue and Greenbrier. 9lesener stated that he <br />would like to see the road centered between the Wright and Valento <br />hones and agreed that there is no alternative to the cul -de -sac <br />on the north due to the location of homes on County Road 0. <br />Nardini stated that she agreed with 3lesener's comments. <br />Collova stated that he would like to see the road moved closer <br />to the Valento hone than the 'Wright's. Collova suggested that <br />the road be moved to one side of the easement. <br />Fahey stated that he sympathized with the residents on LaBore Road, <br />but felt it would he poor planning to have a cul -de -sac on the <br />southern end of the road. Fahey stated that it was not a good idea <br />to have two cul -de -sacs due to safety reasons and maintenance <br />problems. <br />Scalze felt that the road should be located to minimize the effect <br />on the Kostecki and Hanly properties. <br />Scalze pointed out that the City has set a precedent that roads <br />in this area either have to go through to County Road D or to <br />LaBore, and there is no way this road can go through to County Road D. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 86 -5 -212 - GRANTING CONCEPT - <br />APPROVAL TO THE THUNDER 3AY 2ND ADDITION AS <br />PRESENTED WITH A CUL -DE -SAC ON THE NORTH AND <br />ACCESS TO LA30RE ROAD OM THE SOUTH AND WITH <br />THE ROAD EASEENT PUSHED CLOSER TO THE VALENTO <br />HOUSE AND WITH THE STIPULATION THAT FRANK <br />FRATTALONE AID DON VALENTO WORK WITH MESSRS. <br />STCYNSKE AND HANSEN TO TRY TO ACCESS THEIR " <br />PROPERTY AND WITH THE SUGGESTION THAT MESSRS. <br />STCYNSKE AND HANSEN WORK 'WITH MESSRS SOPHIE AND <br />PETERSON IN THIS SAME REGARD <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Ms. Nardini. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, Mardini, Collova, Fahey, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 15, Pages 209 and 210. <br />i r. Valento reported that there is some excess State Highway <br />Department property located at the southeast corner of Rice <br />Street and Highway 36 the City should try to get back on the <br />tax rolls. <br />Fahey suggested that Mr. Valento give this information to the <br />City Engineer.
