Our proposal contemplates performing the work upon a unit price basis, subject <br />to the requirements of the Special Provisions. <br />Accompanying this Proposal is a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond <br />in the amount at least equal to ten per cent (10 %) of the total bid amount submitted <br />on this Proposal, or $500, whichever is greater, payable without condition to the <br />City in event of default of the undersigned. This Bid Security is a guarantee that <br />the undersigned will enter into an Agreement with the City for the work described <br />in this Proposal within ten (10) working days of award of bid and furnish Perform- <br />ance and Payment Bonds as specified to cover this Bid.
