MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JUNE 14, 2006 <br />DOG The City Administrator reviewed staff's recommendation relative to <br />LICENSE the City's dog license fee. The cun~ent fee is $20 for two years. Staff <br />FEE is recommending $15 for two years for dogs that are spayed or neutered, <br />and $20 for two years for dogs that are not. The Administrator indicated <br />that the reduced fee may encourage pet owners to have their dogs spayed <br />or neutered. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006-6-I36 -MODIFYING THE CITY'S DOG <br />LICENSE FEE TO $IS FOR TWO YEARS FOR ANIMALS THAT <br />ARE SPAYED OR NEUTERED, AND $20 FOR TWO YEARS FOR <br />ANIMALS THAT ARE NOT EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />MECHANICAL The City Administrator reviewed staff's recommendation for both an <br />PERMIT increase in mechanical permit fees for residential construction as well as <br />FEES a modification in the City's permit fee stt~ucture. He noted Chat the <br />increase and modifications are based on an analysis of the mechanical fees <br />being charged by surrounding cities. The Administrator also noted that <br />the City has not increased its mechanical permit fees since 1996. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006-6-137 -APPROVING THE INCREASE IN <br />MECHANICAL PERMIT FEES AS WELL AS MODIFICATION IN <br />PERMIT FEE STRUCTURE FOR RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION <br />AND RECOMMENDED BY CITY STAFF EFFECTIVE JULY I, 2006 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />EVERGREEN The City Administrator presented a proposed Development Agreement <br />HILLS for the Evergreen Hills development in the area of County Road C and <br />DEVELOP- Old County Road C. The City Administrator recommended approval <br />MENT of this Agreement subject to resolution of the issues outlined in his memo <br />AGREEMENT dated June 10, 2006. The City Attorney reported that the Agreement <br /> appeals to be in proper form. <br />
