C. File No. 8595 -2 <br />Dear Mr. Weaver: <br />The subject plan has been reviewed against the requirements for a <br />comprehensive sewer policy plan as outlined in the Water Quality <br />Management Plan. The following comments and recommendations are <br />offered by the Commission: <br />1) The comprehensive plan does not indicate if the City allows <br />the development of homes using on -site sewage disposal systems. <br />If such systems are permitted the plan needs to be revised to <br />include a complete section on on -site systems. The present <br />plan does not include any policy on this subject. <br />2) The sewer map as included in the plan is not large enough to <br />be useful. A map using a larger scale should be attached, <br />along with a table on the design capacity versus ultimate <br />needs for each drainage area of the local trunk sewer systems. <br />3) The plan should project the number of sewer connections and /or <br />residential equivalent connections to be made by year for the <br />next five years. <br />It is requested that if a meeting is scheduled with the City of Little <br />Canada to discuss the sewer element of the comprehensive plan that the <br />Commission be notified of the date, time and place. <br />George W.
