1 the nomination; <br />2 (b) Any individual whose name has been entered as a <br />3 candidate for the nomination of a political Party in <br />.4 Presidential primaries in two or more other states during the <br />5 same year; <br />6 (c) Any individual nominated as a candidate for the <br />7 presidential nomination of a political party by a petition <br />8 bearing the names of 2,000 eligible voters from each <br />9 congressional district; and <br />10 (d) Any other individual who is the preferred choice of at <br />11 least five percent of the members of his political party for the <br />12 presidential nomination of that party as indicated in a national <br />13 opinion poll or any poll with an established reputation for <br />14 reasonable accuracy, taken during the six months preceding the <br />15 date soecified in subdivision 3. The secretary of state shall <br />16 determine and certify which polls comply with the requirements <br />17 of this clause. <br />18 Subd. 2. A tentative determination of the candidates to be <br />19 listed on the warty ticket of each political party on the <br />20 presidential primary ballot shall be announced by the secretary <br />21 of state ten weeks prior to the primary for the purpose of <br />22 giving voters sufficient time to nominate unlisted candidates by <br />23 Petition. <br />24 Subd. 3.
