MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MARCH 22, 2006 <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO.2006-3-74 - ADOPTING AN ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING CHAPTER 92L030 OF THE LITTLE CANADA CITY <br />CODE, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, BY PROVIDING <br />FOR ENFORCEMENT OF CONDITIONAL AND INTERIM USE <br />PERMITS BY CITATION AS AMENDED BY THE CITY ATTORNEY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />TEXT Blesener opened the Public Hearing to consider a proposed Text <br />AMENDMENT Amendment to the Zoning Code amending Section 925 to provide <br />RELATIVE TO for enforcement process of zoning violations. The City Planner and <br />MISDEMEANOR Planning Commission have recommended approval. <br />VIOLATIONS <br />The City Planner reported that the proposed Text Amendment clarifies the <br />enforcement of zoning violations to state what the violator is actually <br />guilty of and to provide the City authority to issue citations. <br />The City Attorney recommended that the phrase "be guilty of a <br />misdemeanor" be added after the word "shall" in the fifth line of Section <br />925.020. <br />There was no one present from the general public wishing to comment on <br />this matter. <br />Upon motion by LaValle, seconded by Montour, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006-3-75 - APPROVING AN ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING CHAPTER 925.020 OF THE LITTLE CANADA CITY <br />CODE, KNOWN AS THE ZONNG ORDINANCE, BY PROVIDING <br />FOR ENFORCEMENT PROCESS OF ZONING VIOLATIONS AS <br />AMENDED BY THE CITY ATTORNEY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Allan. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0).
