302.090. CONFLICT OF INTEREST. The Plumbing Inspector shall not <br />engage in the business of installation or maintenance of any plumbing or <br />sewage disposal systems either directly or indirectly in this municipality and <br />he shall have no financial interest in any concern engaged in such business in <br />this municipality. <br />302.100. DUTIES. The Plumbing Inspector shall make a thorough <br />inspection of the installation in buildings of all plumbing and fixtures and <br />also all sewage disposal systems now installed or that may hereafter be <br />installed within the municipality, and when the installation of any such <br />plumbing or disposal systems or material used is found to be in a dangerous or <br />unsafe condition, he shall notify the person, firm or corporation owning, <br />using, operating or installing the same to place such defective plumbing or <br />sewer installations in a safe condition and he shall immediately place a <br />notice in a conspicuous place upon such dangerous or unsafe construction <br />stating that the workmanship, design or material is unsafe and that it shall <br />not be used until it is put in a safe condition and thereafter it shall be <br />unlawful to use said installation or materials until it has been placed in a <br />safe condition and has been inspected and approved by said Inspector. <br />302.110. HEATING INSPECTOR. The governing body may appoint a Heating <br />Inspector. <br />302.120. QUALIFICATIONS. The person appointed to the position of <br />Heating Inspector must demonstrate a general knowledge of all types of heating <br />apparatus, equipment and installation. He shall be particularly qualified to <br />inspect and pass upon installation of gas burner equipment. <br />302.130. CONFLICT OF INTEREST. The Heating Inspector shall not <br />engage in the business of the installation or maintenance of heating equipment <br />either directly or indirectly in this municipality and he shall have no <br />financial interest in any concern engaged in such business in this <br />municipality. <br />302.140. DUTIES. It shall be the duty of the Heating Inspector to <br />enforce the provisions of this Code. He shall inspect all of the work covered <br />in that part of the Code relative to or incidental with installation of <br />heating equipment of any kind. <br />302.150. COMPENSATION OF INSPECTORS. Any inspector appointed by the <br />governing body of the municipality shall receive as compensation for his <br />services such fees or salary as the governing body by resolution shall <br />provide. <br />24 5 <br />
