MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />NOVEMBER 20, 2006 <br />Mr. Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006-11-284 -APPROVING THE PURCHASE <br />OF A TOOL CATE AT A COST OF $44,730 FROM TRI-STATE <br />BOBCAT A5 RECOMMENDED BY CITY STAFF WITH FUNDING <br />TO COME FROM THE GENERAL CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT <br />FUND <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />BIAGINI The CiCy Administrator noted that Che CiCy Council recently approved <br />AGREEMENT the vacation of a portion of the Country Drive right-of-way to allow RAB, <br />LLC to construct a monument sign for their new building at 3235 Country <br />Drive. The CiCy would retain drainage and utility easements over Chis <br />area, and RAB, LLC was required to sign an agreement that the City has <br />no responsibility for damage to this sign in the event thaC utility repairs are <br />necessary. The Administrator reported that the City Attorney has prepared <br />Chis agreement, and he presented it to the Council for Cheir approval. The <br />Administrator also noted that RAB, LLC would be responsible for any <br />costs associated with the vacation and drafCing of Che agreement. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006-11-285 -APPROVING THE AGREEMENT <br />DRAFTED BY THE CITY ATTORNEY RELATIVE TO COUNTRY <br />DRIVE VACATION/SIGNAGE ISSUES FOR RAB, LLC AND <br />REQUIRING THAT RAB, LLC PAYALL ASSOCIATED COSTS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Allan. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />RAMSEY Keis reported Chat the Ramsey County League of Local Governments <br />COUNTY is seeking to become more pro-active in legislative matters. Part of this <br />LEAGUE effort involves the identification of four top priorities for the 2007 <br />LEGISLTIVE Legislative Session. The RCLLG has asked that member cities develop <br />ISSUES Cheir list of four top priorities. These will be discussed by RCLLG who <br />will then compile their own list based on this inpuC. <br />In discussing Little Canada's legislative priority list, it was the consensus <br />of the Council that the pursuiC of the authority to impose adminisCrative <br />12 <br />
