MINUTES <br />Planning Commission <br />July 7, 1983 <br />Schrier Mrs. Timmons asked Mr. Schrier if he were opposed to providing buffering <br />Proposal between the apartments and the Frattalone property. Mr. Schrier pointed out <br />(Cont.) the topography of the area and did not know how much good buffering would <br />do. Mr. Daubney stated that there is about an 8 foot drop to the Fratta- <br />lone property. <br />Mr. Costa asked Mr. Frattalone if he would like some sort of buffering. <br />Mr. Frattalone replied that he had not thought about this. <br />Mrs. Timmons pointed out that she is considering five future residents of <br />the City that will he next to apartment buildings. <br />Mr. Daubney stated that Mr. Schrier will landscape the property, but <br />has not yet had an architect draw up landscaping plans. Daubney stated <br />that this is something that will be considered in the future. <br />Mrs. Timmons felt that this recommendation should be passed on to the <br />Council. <br />Mr. French recommended approval of the Schrier subdivision. <br />Motion seconded by Mr. Frattalone. <br />Motion carried 7 - 0. <br />Mrs. Timmons recommended approval of the subdivision variance for the <br />length of the cul -de -sac with the stipulation that the emergency access <br />areas have knock -down barriers and not just be through streets. <br />Motion seconded by Mr. French. <br />Motion carried 7 - 0. <br />Mr. DeLonais recommended approval of a conditional use permit for a twin <br />home within an R -1 district. <br />Motion seconded by Mr. Costa. <br />Motion carried 7 - 0. <br />Mr. French asked if a public hearing was necessary for a rezoning. Mr. <br />Schrier replied that one is scheduled for July 27. Mr. Schrier also <br />presented the legal descriptions of the proeprty to he rezoned. <br />
