(G) Compensatory time shall accrue and be used on a calendar year basis. <br />Any compensatory time not used by an employee during a calendar year shall be <br />forfeited. <br />209.100. Legal Holidays. <br />(A) The following holidays will be observed by full time employees: <br />New Year's Day <br />President's Day <br />Memorial Day <br />Independence Day <br />Labor Day <br />Veterans' Day <br />Thanksgiving Day <br />Day after Thanksgiving <br />Christmas <br />When New Year's Day, Independence Day, Veterans' Day, or Christmas Day falls <br />on Saturday, the preceding day shall be observed as a holiday. If one of the <br />four (4) holidays falls on a Sunday, the following day shall be observed as a <br />holiday. <br />(B) Full holiday pay will be granted to all regular employees. <br />Employees must be on the payroll on the work day immediately preceding and the <br />work day immediately following a holiday to be eligible for holiday pay for <br />that holiday. Permanent part time employees will be granted pro rata holiday <br />pay for each holiday based on the average number of hours worked per week <br />during the eight (8) weeks immediately preceding each holiday and in <br />accordance with the following schedule: <br />Average Hours Worked Holiday Pay <br />Less than 20 0 <br />20 — 23 1/2 Day <br />24 or more 3/5 Day <br />(C) Any regular employee, other than the City Clerk, Building Official, <br />and Superintendent of Public Works, and any permanent part time employee, who <br />is required to work on any of the above named holidays, shall be paid holiday <br />premium time at the rate of two (2) hours pay for each hour worked. <br />209.110. Vacation Leave. <br />(A) No employee shall be entitled to vacation leave during the first <br />three (3) months of city employment. Vacation leave shall be granted at the <br />end of this time as earned for the three (3) month period. Vacation leave <br />shall not be earned by temporary employees. <br />(B) Vacation leave shall be accrued on a monthly basis for each calendar <br />m <br />
