Costa asked what type of landscaping business would be operated. <br />mr. Carle replied that it would be similar to Patio Town. Mr. Costa <br />asked '4r. Carle how long he has been in the business. Mr. Carle <br />replied about 15 years. Carle informed the commission that he is <br />presently located in St. Paul. near Norm's Auto Paris. <br />Mr. Costa asked what type of building was planned. Mr. Carle replied <br />that a steel building was planned with a one car garage. <br />Mrs. Timmons stated that she felt the temporary use of a trailer <br />for the business was a good idea. Mr. Carle reported that at present <br />his problem is money. Also time will be required to construct the <br />building. <br />Mr. Licht stated that if the idea of a trailer was going to he <br />pursued it would have to he pursued as a text amendment to the <br />ordinance. Mr. Licht stated that he had no problem with the trailer <br />as long as it was temporary. Licht indicated that there are ways of <br />ensuring this. <br />Mr. Carle stated that the use of the trailer for one year would he <br />sufficient. <br />Mr. DeLonais stated that Mr. Carle will have to have a site plan <br />prepared before the Commission can take any action on his request. <br />Mr. Carle indicated that he has 4 1/2 acres of property. Carle also <br />asked if he could use the small piece or his property located across <br />the street for employee parking. Mr. Licht replied that legally this <br />was viewed as two separate pieces of property. However, Licht stated <br />that he would look into this request. <br />Mr. DeLonais moved recommendation of concept approval of the project <br />based on the Planning Commission's review of a site plan at a future <br />date and indicating that the Planning Commission feels favorably <br />towards the issuance of a conditional use permit for this business, <br />parking across the street, and temporary use of a mohilehome for an <br />office for a period of one year. <br />Motion seconded by Mr. Vitale. <br />Motion carried 8 — 0. <br />Mr. Pete Costa reported that he would like to construct a pole barn <br />on his property for the storage of farm equipment. The building <br />would be located in the northwest corner of his property in the hack. <br />The Building would be 36 feet by 60 feet. <br />Page —9— <br />
