MINUTES
Planning Commission
Sept. 13, 1984
Durray Mr. Davison recommended approval of the conditional use permit for
(Cont.) off —site parking for Lot 4 and the conditional use permit PUD for
a self — service car wash for Lot 5 requested by Tom Durray and
strongly urges the Council to recognize the potential drainage
problems that this development will cause on Demont and requests
the Council to address this problem.
'lotion seconded by Mr. Perlinger.
Motion carried 7 — 0.
Ryan Art Ryan appeared before the Commission requesting approval of a
Property lot split for Lot 1 and Lot 6. Mr. Ryan explained that Lot 6 would
Division simply be split down the middle and would result in 1 1/4 acre for
each lot. The drainage would run from the north to the south
and into the City's ponding area.
The split for Lot 1 would be to split a small lot in the corner
of the property. The balance of the property would be retained
by Mr. Ryan. The lot to he split would consist of 30,000 square
feet and would go to the adjacent business, which is a bicycle
wholesaling business.
Mr. DeLonais stated that according to the Planner, there are no
problems with the splits.
Mr. Perlinger recommended that the Council approve the lot splits
requested by '4r. Ryan subject to the Planner's report and comments
from the City Attorney and Engineer.
Motion seconded by "",r. Ducharme.
Motion carried 7 — 0.
Runde lIr. Gene Bunde appeared before the Planning Commission requesting a
Conditional PUD so that he might construct a storage barn on his property.
Use Permit
The Planner reported that the reason for the approach on this request
is that the property Mr. Bunde wants to construct the shed on does
not have road frontage and it cannot be combined with his adjoining
property, until his contract— for —deed is satisfied.
Mr. DeLonai.s asked why Bunde did not put the barn on the lot with street
frontage. Mr. Runde replied that he wanted the shed to house a small
garden tractor and would like to raise wildlife feed on the lot.
Therefore, he would like the shed near the area that he would be using
it.
rage —3—
