r
MINUTES
Planning Commission
Sept. 13, 1984
Bunde
(Cont.)
R.g S
Outdoor
l Storage
Mr. Bunde also stated that he would construct a shed that would fit
in with the area and would not be visible to other properties.
Bunde stated that the dimensions of the shed would he 12 by 18.
Mr. Bunde stated that he would combine the two pieces of property
once the contract is satisfied.
Mr. French recommended that the Council approve the Bunde PHD request
based on the Planner's recommendations.
Motion seconded by Mrs. Kingsbury.
Motion carried 7 — 0.
Mr. French asked at what point a shed was considered a permanent
structure. The Planner replied that the use of the property is
what is considered. When a lot has no street frontage, it has no
legal use except as open space.
Mr. Louie Rustad requested that the Commission approve a conditional
use permit for auto salvage.
Mr. DeLonais stated that he viewed the property and commented that
Hr. Pustad is fencing the property.
Mrs. Kingsbury asked if cars would he stacked over the height of the
fence. Mr. Rustad stated that they would not. Rustad stated that
he will have cars hauled about 4 or 5 times per year. Mr. Rustad
stated that the reason that his cars were high in the winter was
because of road restrictions as he could not get them hauled during
that time.
Mr. Rustad reported that the Cervais's and other businesses in the
area do not object to his request.
Mr. Davison asked if the yard would be open to the public. Mr. Rustad
replied that it would.
Mr. Davison asked if the road access situation for the area should
be discussed at this time. Mr. Crittman replied that the Commission
is considering the conditional use permit presently.
'1r. Rustad reported that Mrs. Scalze will probably bring up the road
issue again. Mr. Rustad felt that the businesses in the area were
willing to give the easements for a second access, but would probably
want to leave it gravel.
0
