MINUTES <br />Planning Commission <br />Aug. 9, 1984 <br />Imax Corp. Motion seconded by Mr. Perlinger. <br />Motion carried 7 — 0. <br />Rice & Mrs. Timmons expressed concern as to the number of cars on the car lot <br />County Road C located at Rice Street and County Road C. Timmons commented that the <br />lot had a restriction as to the number of cars they were allowed. <br />Mrs. Timmons requested that someone check this matter out. <br />Berglund Mr. Edward Berglund of Viking Drive appeared before the commission <br />Conditional requesting approval of a conditional use permit so that he can <br />Use Permit construct a garage in a B -3 district. <br />For Garage <br />Tereau <br />Subdivision <br />& Variance <br />Mrs. Kingsbury pointed out that the garage is already started and asked <br />Mr. Berglund why he began construction without a building permit. <br />Mr. Berglund stated that as he was removing three buildings from the <br />property and replacing one, he did not think he would need a building <br />permit. Berglund stated that the garage is about half completed. <br />Mrs. Timmons asked if Mr. Berglund was opposed to removing the existing <br />shed as a condition of this approval. Berglund replied that he was not. <br />Mr. DeLonais recommended approval of a conditional use permit for <br />Mr. Edward Berglund so that he might construct a residential garage <br />in a B -3 district with the condition that the existing shed be <br />removed within three months. <br />Motion seconded by Mr. Ducharme. <br />Motion carried 7 — 0. <br />Mr. Joseph Tereau appeared before the Commission requesting approval <br />of a subdivision and variance for a lot of record to be less than <br />10,000 square feet. <br />Mrs. Timmons asked if under the Shoreland Ordinance doesn't the <br />developer have to prove that a lot is buildable before it could <br />be approved. The Planner agreed. <br />Mr. Tereau pointed out that sewer and water was put in on the property <br />and the property has been designated as buildable. The planner <br />pointed out that the County said the property was buildable, and they <br />do not have the authority to indicate this <br />Put•i — �— <br />
