MINUTES <br />Planning Commission <br />) May 10, 1984 <br />Rice <br />Conditional <br />Use Permit <br />R & S <br />Aul:.omot:i. ve <br />Mr. Charles Rice appeared before the Commission requesting a <br />conditional use permit for garage expansion. The Planner stated <br />that he had no problems with the request. <br />Mr. DeLonais commented that the garage was located in the front of <br />the house. The Planner stated that this is permitted under the <br />ordinance as long as the garage is not within the 30 foot front yard <br />setback. <br />Mr. Ducharme recommended approval of the conditional use permit for <br />garage expansion contingent upon the recommendations contained in <br />the Planner's report. <br />Motion seconded by Mr. Costa. <br />Motion carried 6 - 0. <br />Mr. Louie Rustad of R & S Automotive appeared before the Commission <br />requesting a conditional use permit for outdoor storage. <br />The Planner recommended that the request be tabled pending submission <br />of site plans of the existing development. <br />Mr. DeLonais recommended that the R & S Automotive conditional use <br />permit for outdoor storage be tabled until site plans are submitted. <br />Motion seconded by Mr. Ducharme. <br />Motion carried 6 - 0. <br />Belland Mr. Bob Deflate appeared before the Commission requesting a CUP for <br />CIJP outdoor storage for Richard Belland's property and a variance on the <br />Outdoor backyard setback. <br />Storage <br />Mr. DeBace informed the commission that the business is not a body <br />shop, but an auto repair shop. Mr. Belland would he parking cars <br />on the premises to be repaired. <br />The Planner stated that in that case the conditional use permit for <br />outdoor storage is not necessary. The Planner stated that it was not <br />clear to him that this was auto repairs and not auto body. <br />Mr. DeLonais asked how many cars would be parked on the premises. <br />Mr.Belland replied that there would be 12 to 15 cars parked on the <br />lot during the day. Belland informed the Commission that he has <br />throe employees. <br />Page -5- <br />
