The proposed building is 32' x
56'. Mr. Anderson indicated that their intentions are to
use the new building as a storm shelter in the future only
if the situation arises. Mr. Anderson indicated that they
are going to tear down the existing building.
Mr. Herkenhoff recommended that the conditional use permit
for the 3020 Mobile Home Court's storage building be
approved based on the conditions that the storage building
be in conformance with Section 903.020, existing setbacks be
maintained, and on the recommendations of the Planner,
Attorney or any other staff members.
Motion seconded by Mr. DeLonais.
Motion carried 6 - 0.
Mr. Dan Peters of KVBM Television appeared before the
Commission requesting approval of a conditional use permit
for a freestanding tower to be located on Little Canada's
compost site. Mr. Peters indicated that their time frame is
short; therefore, they wish to achieve actual approval
rather than concept approval. Mr. Peters stated that he has
appeared before the Council just to give them a little
background on his proposal.
Mr. Peters stated that Mr. Grittman had indicated that there
were a few items that were uncovered in KVBM Television's
original request. Mr. Peters indicated that they did not
wish to build a studio on the site, there was no need for
parking on the site, and that the City would eventually be
fencing the compost area in and due to the compost, he did
not feel that the area should have to be landscaped like a
park setting.
Page 7
