(K) The City Administrator shall coordinate municipal <br />programs and activities as directed by City Council. He /she <br />shall monitor all consultant and contractor work performed for <br />the City. He /she shall coordinate the activities of the City <br />Attorney. <br />(L) The City Administrator shall work in cooperation with <br />the City Council's appointed consultants. <br />(M) The City Administrator shall prepare news releases, <br />develop and discuss public relations with all concerned as <br />required. <br />(N) The City Administrator shall be informed regarding <br />federal, state, and county programs which affect the <br />municipality. He /'she shall consult with officials of both <br />public and private agencies as may be required. <br />(0) The City Administrator shall inform the City Council <br />on matters dealing with administration of the City and prepare <br />and submit to the City Council for adoption an administrative <br />code encompassing the details of administrative procedures. <br />(P) The City Administrator shall be required to take an <br />oath of office. He /she shall be bonded, at City expense, <br />through a position bond which will indemnify the municipality. <br />(Q) He /she shall perform such other duties as may be <br />prescribed by law or required of him /her by ordinance or <br />resolutions adopted by the City Council. <br />(R) The City Administrator shall maintain the following: <br />(1) A minute book, noting therein all proceedings <br />of Council; <br />(2) An ordinance book, in which he /she shall record <br />at length all ordinances passed by the Council; and <br />(3) An account book, in which he /she shall enter <br />all money transactions of the municipality, including <br />the dates and amounts of all receipts and the person <br />from whom the money was received and all orders drawn <br />upon the treasurer with their payee and object. <br />(4) Ordinances, resolutions and claims considered <br />by the Council need not be given in full in the minute <br />book if they appear in other permanent records of the <br />Administrator and can be accurately identified from <br />the description given in the minutes. The City <br />Administrator shall act as the clerk and treasurer of <br />the municipality, shall be the custodian of its seal <br />and records, shall sign its official papers, shall <br />-3- <br />Page 112 <br />
