northwest cssociated consultants, inc. <br />PLANNING REPORT <br />TO: Little Canada Planning Commission <br />FROM: Stephen Grittman <br />DATE: 10 August 1989 <br />RE: Little Canada - DeBace Garage Moving CUP <br />FILE NO: 758.09 - 89.44 <br />BACKGROUND <br />Mr. Jeff DeBace recently subdivided property along County Road C <br />west of Lakeshore. He is now applying for a conditional use <br />permit to allow the moving of a garage onto the parcel which <br />contains the existing single family home. A site plan is <br />attached to this report indicating the proposed location of the <br />garage. <br />ANALYSIS <br />The City Code requires that a conditional use permit be granted <br />to allow the moving of an existing structure whether into, out <br />of, or within the City. In this case, the garage is being moved <br />from the former Dick and Mary's Tavern site to accommodate the <br />new Hardee's Restaurant. Requirements made of such requests are: <br />1. The Building Official inspect the structure and improvements <br />are made as suggested prior to occupancy. <br />2 The applicant provide an adequate security to ensure the <br />repair of any damage done to public property as a result of <br />the move. <br />3.
