MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JUNE 26, 2013 <br />Rounded edges; <br />Addition of photo gallery page. <br />The Administrator showed examples of other web sites that offer these <br />features. He also reported that these features can be added through the <br />$4,000 enhancement package offered by GovOffice. <br />The Council discussed the various elements and were in agreement that <br />these would provide a fresh look for the City's web site. The consensus <br />was to proceed with the $4,000 enhancement package. <br />There was some discussion about when the new features could be <br />implemented given the desire to include seasonal pictures in the banners. <br />The Administrator indicated that while staff can update web site content, it <br />appears changes in banners would have to he done by GovOffice. He <br />indicated that from the information that GovOffice provided, that banner <br />changes after the implementation of the web site upgrade could be done <br />for a charge of $115 per hour with a two hour minimum. The <br />Administrator indicated that he would obtain more information from <br />GovOffice relative to the banner changes, indicating that depending on <br />cost, the web site enhancement may not occur until 2014. The <br />Administrator stated that he would keep the Council updated as he obtains <br />more information. <br />PUBLIC The City Administrator reported that the property owner's attorney has <br />WORKS made some minor modifications to the purchase agreement for the former <br />GARAGE Brings Onion site. This is the site being purchased by the City for a new <br />Public Works Garage. The Administrator reported that the goal is to close <br />on this property by Friday so that the City can file tax exempt status for <br />2014. <br />The Administrator reported that the property owner provided copies of <br />Phase I and II environmental reports that were done in 1993 on the site. <br />There was another review done in 2006. The City Attorney has indicated <br />that everything appears fine, and suggested that the property owner <br />provide an affidavit that there have been no changes since 2006. The <br />Parks Director indicated that there may be fuel tanks on the site. The <br />Administrator commented that these have been removed and soil borings <br />were done in the area where the tanks had existed. <br />The Administrator recommended that the City utilize a construction <br />management approach for this project, similar to what was done on the <br />City I Iall addition, the Fire Station project, park shelter projects, and the <br />Historical Society addition.
