1.5.6. Make recommendations to the City as to all claims made by the <br />contractor or others relating to the execution and progress of the <br />construction work. <br />1.5.7. Notify the City in writing of all permanent work which does <br />not conform to the standards and specifications of the construction <br />contract and monitor the performance of corrective work. <br />1.5.8. Review shop drawings, samples and other submissions of the <br />Contractor only for general conformance to the design concept of the <br />Project and for compliance with the result required by the <br />Construction Contract. <br />1.5.9. Issue such additional instructions to the contractor as may <br />be necessary to interpret the drawings and specifications or the <br />changes required in the contractor's work. <br />1.5.10. Prepare Change Orders for work not covered by the Contract <br />or substantial over -run of "contract quantities" for the City's <br />approval after discussion of the same with City. Change Orders shall <br />be processed as soon as practical after written approval thereof has <br />been received by the Consultant from the City. <br />1.5.11. At the request of the City, attend periodic progress <br />meetings with the contractor(s), City representatives, and others who <br />may be interested during the course of the Project to address unique <br />and /or difficult circumstances relating to the Project. <br />1.5.12. Conduct construction progress reviews with the contractor <br />and the City related to the contractor's date of completion and <br />provide periodic written progress report for the Project as requested <br />by the City to address unique and /or difficult projects. <br />Page 7 <br />Page 22 <br />
