MINUTES
PLANNING COMMISSION
JUNE 14, 1990
Motion seconded by Herkenhoff.
Motion carried 7 - 0.
M -V GAS CO. John Hausen, M -V Gas Co., appeared before the
CONDITIONAL Commission, requesting approval of a Conditional Use
USE PERMIT Permit allowing installation of a 1,000 gallon propane
motor fuel dispenser, pump meter and hose. Hausen
reported that M -V Gas Co. was willing to comply with
the recommendations of the City Planner, however,
questioned the recommendation for landscaping from the
adjacent home. Also, the tank itself is used as an
advertising sign.
DeLonais raised the possibility of vehicles coming off
the freeway hitting the tank.
Hausen reported that there will be bunker posts
installed around the tank to protect it.
Drabik stated that *she would like to see some
landscaping around the tank screening it from Little
Canada Road. Drabik asked if the City could require as
a condition of CUP approval, that the station's signage
be brought into conformance.
The City Planner reported that the Council has taken
the position that when a building improvement is made
Page 7
