Frattalone stated that <br />there is a lot of truck traffic in and out of the site, <br />however, pointed out that the area is an industrial <br />one. Frattalone stated that while he cannot control <br />the traffic, he could control the dust. Frattalone <br />stated that he was willing to work together with the <br />City on this matter. <br />Drabik asked if the pile of concrete pieces could be <br />moved to the back of the site since she felt this was <br />unsitely. <br />Frattalone replied that he would be willing to move <br />this pile, however, pointed out that he would like a <br />period of time in which to move it. <br />Drabik asked the cause of the dust, if it was blowing <br />off the stockpiles or caused by truck traffic. <br />Frattalone stated that the dust is from the traffic . in <br />and out of the site. Frattalone stated that while he <br />failed to control dust fora couple of days, he has <br />taken measures to control it and would continue to do <br />so. Frattalone stated that should he receive a permit, <br />he would blacktop the road into the site, would would <br />solve the problem. Frattalone pointed out that he is <br />currently using one entrance to the site, and he would <br />be willing to have one entrance into the site and <br />another to drive out. This would relieve some of the <br />traffic burden on the adjacent properties. <br />Bendel asked about the crushing operation. <br />Frattalone stated that crushing occurs for a 4 to 5 <br />week period each year and is not a very noisey or dusty <br />operation. <br />Frattalone pointed out that recycling is a big issue, <br />and that County jobs are requiring that the materials <br />taken off a job are recycled. Frattalone suggested <br />that the State may impose recycling requirements in the <br />future. <br />Drabik asked if the concrete pieces were recycled. <br />Frattalone replied that the block is used for road <br />building when conditions are muddy. <br />Drabik stated that she has looked at the site, and she <br />does not like the look of it.
