Section 12 (continued) <br />Basic Services for the Construction Phase are provided as per Article 2.6 and shall include: <br />* Administration of the contractor, and as the Owner's representative, subject to <br />retention of construction manager. <br />* Certify Contractor's request for payment based on the progress and quality of the <br />work. <br />* Prepare change orders and construction change order directives for Owner's <br />approval. <br />* Make Interpretations and decisions consistent with the intent of the Contract <br />Documents. <br />12.9 At the Owner's request more extensive representation at the site shall be provided. The <br />scope of these services will be reviewed during the Bidding Phase and a proposal will be <br />submitted to the Owner. <br />12.10 Change order preparation shall be a reimbursable cost when due to a change in the <br />project scope ordered by the Owner. The Architect shall not charge the owner for change <br />orders requested by Architect. <br />12.11 No reimbursement to Architect shall be made under 3.4.18 as a result in defects in design <br />needing correction beyond time period indicated. <br />Page 88 <br />
