MINUTES
PLANNING COMMISSION
February 8, 1990
BRAD HOWE
CUP TO MOVE
EXISTING
HOME
Herkenhoff recommended approval of the subdivision
sketch plan submitted by Gordie Howe Real Estate, Inc.
for the development of the property located at 177 East
County Road B into 48 single - family lots.
Motion seconded by Costa.
Motion carried 7 - 0.
The Planner pointed out that the development will still
require preliminary plat and final plat approvals.
Mr. Brad Howe appeared before the Commission requesting
approval of a Conditional Use Permit so that he can
move an existing home onto single - family lot within the
City. Howe presented the Commission with pictures of
the home and described the area into which he plans to
move the home.
Drabik asked if the shed that exists on the lot will
remain.
Howe replied that it would.
The Planner stated that the shed would be allowed to
remain as long as it met required setbacks.
Costa asked if the home met Code requirements.
The City Planner replied that the Building Inspector
has inspected the house, and pointed out the
Inspector's report dated January 30, 1990. The Planner
pointed out that the recommendations made by the
Inspector will have to be complied with prior to
occupancy of the home. However, landscaping
requirements will have to be met in the Spring.
Pedersen asked if there was anyone from the general
public present wishing to comment on this request.
There was not.
Costa recommended approval of the Conditional Use
Permit requested by Brad and Annette Howe to move an
existing home onto a single - family lot within the City
located at 990 County Road D subject to compliance with
the recommendations of the City Planner and Building
Inspector.
Page 3
