Minutes <br />City Council <br />May 24, 1989 <br />Stellick <br />Property <br />Division <br />(cont.) <br />Mr. Grittman stated that this is something that could be <br />done to allow easement parking from the existing parking <br />lot. Mr. Grittman felt that it would not be a problem once <br />Mr. Stellick came to develop it, whether it is going to <br />stand on its own or it is going to be an expansion of the <br />Market Place then. <br />Mr. Fahey stated that the Market Place is on a private road <br />there. The Market Place is not on a public access; <br />therefore, if the Council approves the split on a private <br />road, someone may think that they may simply come in and <br />build on it and get a permit; <br />introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 89 -5 -215 - APPROVING THE STELLICK <br />LOT SPLIT SUBJECT TO THE RECOMMENDATIONS CONTAINED <br />IN THE PLANNER'S REPORT OF MAY 8, 1989, SUBJECT TO <br />A DETERMINATION OF THE CITY ATTORNEY CONCERNING <br />WHETHER A PARK CHARGE IS APPLICABLE, AND SUBJECT <br />TO PAYMENT OF ANY SUCH PARK CHARGE BY THE <br />APPLICANT IF DETERMINED THAT ONE IS DUE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, Collova, Fahey, LaValle, Scalze. <br />Nays (0) . <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. Blesener suggested that the City Clerk research the park <br />charge to see if it was previously paid. Mr. Blesener <br />stated that the City Clerk should check to see how it was <br />combined. Mr. Blesener felt that if Ramsey County combined <br />it again for convenience, the park charge may not be <br />appropriate again. <br />Orgaxz ed' Mrs. Kathy Tipler, a representative from the Solid Waste <br />Collection Advisory Committee, appeared before the Council to give an <br />update on organized collection. sirs. Tipler indicated that <br />Agenda she and Mr. Collova have been meeting with the haulers to <br />Addition try to work out a contract on organized collection as the <br />Council had requested. <br />Page 20 <br />
