The Watershed District received thirty -five applications. I am pleased to inform you that your cost -share funding application was approved. Enclosed is a written agreement between you and the Ramsey- Washington Metro Watershed District for the cost - share funding. Please sign and return the agreement. ALL PROPERTY OWNERS (INCLUDING SPOUSES) MUST SIGN THE AGREEMENT. Please note the following important conditions to the agreement: • Ramsey - Washington Metro Watershed District will provide 50% funding for all eligible costs associated with well sealing, up to a maximum of $1,000.00. • Payment will be made to the landowner. The landowner will be responsible for payment to the well contractor. • The well must be sealed by a licensed well contractor. • You or your well contractor must notify the District at least 24 hours before the well is sealed. • The well must be sealed by May 1, 1992; all required documents must be submitted to the District by June 1, 1992. • No payment will be provided unless all conditions of the agreement are met. After the signed agreement has been returned to the Watershed District, you will receive a photocopy of the executed agreement for your records. With your copy of the executed agreement you will receive instructions on what to do next. Do not arrange for sealing your well now. Thank you for your interest in this program.
