Mint Recreation Director Page 3 <br />MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: This position requires: <br />(1) Graduation from a four year college or university with major <br />course work in recreation administration, park management or a <br />related field with a minimum of three years responsible <br />management and supervisory experience in recreation, parks or a <br />related field. <br />(2) The ability to plan, organize, coordinate and supervise the <br />work of subordinates. <br />(3) Thorough knowledge of the principles and practices, objectives, <br />and facilities and equipment needed to administer a broad <br />community park and recreation program. <br />(4) The ability to establish and maintain effective working <br />relationships with other City officials and employees; civic <br />groups, other governmental agencies and the public. <br />(5) The ability to communicate ideas, recommendations, instructions <br />and explanations clearly both orally and in writing. <br />I have reviewed and agree that this job description accurately <br />describes the duties and responsibilities of this position. <br />Employee Date <br />!:.City,: Manager. <br />Page „34 <br />Date <br />
