POSITION TITLE: Parks, Recreation & Forestry Director <br />DATE: January 1982 <br />External (continued) <br />- Occasional personal telephone and written contact with State Planning Agency <br />and Metro Council staff regarding Federal and State Grant -in -Aid Programs. <br />- Monthly personal contact with Metro Region Parks & Recreation Directors Asso- <br />ciation as a member. <br />- Occasional personal and telephone contact with Minnesota Recreation and Park <br />Association through serving on various committees. <br />- Frequent personal and telephone contact with all the athletic associations <br />serving the community. <br />- Frequent personal, telephone and written contact with vendors and suppliers of <br />equipment and goods that are used in the department. <br />- Frequent personal and telephone contact with various civic groups in the commu- <br />nity representing the City and department. <br />- Frequent personal and telephone contact with local business leaders regarding <br />park and recreation programs and plans. <br />- Occasional personal contact with various human services organizations from the <br />State, County and School Districts regarding joint programs or services. <br />F.
