704.040. LICENSE FEES. The annual fee for a wine license is $100.00. The license fee may subsequently be changed by Council resolution. Each application for a wine license shall be accompanied by a receipt from the Deputy City Clerk for payment in full of a license fee. If an application for a license is rejected, the Deputy City Clerk shall refund the amount paid. 704.050. COMBINATION WINE AND BEER LICENSE. A holder of an On -Sale Wine license issued pursuant to this Section who is also licensed to sell nonintoxicating malt liquor pursuant to Section 702, whose gross receipts are at least 60% attributable to the sale of food, may sell intoxicating malt liquor at on -sale without an additional license. Section 5. Chapter 705 of the Municipal Code of the City of Little Canada is hereby added to read as follows: 705. BOTTLE CLUBS. 705.010. PERMIT AND FEES. Whenever any person, association, or corporation, owning or operating any private club or public place, obtains .a permit from the State Liquor Control Commissioner pursuant to Minnesota Statutes §340A.414, such applicant shall be required to obtain a permit from the City and the fee for such permit shall be Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00) for any one year oc any part thereof expiring on the subsequent July 1 next folloing the issuance of such license and said permit must be renewed annually on July 1. The license fee may subsequently be changed by Council resolution. 705.020. NONPROFIT: ORGANIZATIONS. One -day permits may be issued for the consumption and display of intoxicating liquor to a nonprofit organization in conjunction with a social activity in the City sponsored by the organization. The permit must be approved by the State Liquor Control Commissioner and is valid only for the day indicated on the permit. No more than ten (10) such permits shall be issued in any one (1) year. The fee for such permit shall be Five Dollars ($5.00) per year. 705.030. APPLICATION. Application for a bottle club permit shall be made to the City Administrator. Such application shall be based upon a pending application with the Liquor Control Commissioner and the City Administrator shall issue said license if he is notified by the Liquor Control Commissioner that the Liquor Control Commissioner intends to issue a license pursuant to Minnesota Statutes §340A.414. -19- Page 30
