MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
JULY 24, 2013
CONSENT
AGENDA
rooms which requires a rental license from the City, the maintenance of a
common household, and the maintenance of outside parking of no more
than four (4) personal or business - related motor vehicles for residents of
the dwelling unit. The Planner noted that the four outside parking spaces
are in addition to indoor garage space. The Planner noted that limiting the
number of vehicles for single - family homes with boarders reduces the
impact on a single - family neighborhood.
The City Administrator suggested that the clause be modified to say "The
property maintains and utilizes outside parking....." in order to require that
the driveway space be used and vehicles are not parked on the street. The
Planner agreed and indicated that he could modify that language
accordingly.
There was no one else present from the general public wishing to
comment on this matter.
Upon motion by Keis, seconded by Boss, the public hearing was closed.
Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 2013 -7 -133 — ADOPTING THE AMENDMENT
TO ZONING CODE RELATIVE TO SINGLE - FAMILY ACCESSORY
USES AS PROPOSED BY THE CITY PLANNER AND MODIFIED
BY THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw.
Ayes (5).
Nays (0).
