Strict enforcement would prevent us from selling a lot as undoubted- <br />ly envisaged by the original owner, as well requiring us to pay for a use- <br />less connection. No alteration in the essential character of the neighbor- <br />hood would result, and if a new home were built, would result in im- <br />proving the property values in an older neighborhood, something surely <br />in keeping with the spirit of the Ordinance. It also seems that since our <br />old lot exceeds the minimum square footage considerably as well as the <br />75 foot width requirement at most points, that while this is a variance <br />request, the old lot would still remain essentially in keeping with spirit <br />and intent of the Ordinance. <br />Thank you for considering our request. <br />Sincerely, <br />Virginia VH.
