Hanson
We received three proposals for the installation of parking
lot light poles at City Hall. The contractor is to install
the underground wiring as needed, install the concrete
bases, assemble and erect the poles, and pay for all
necessary permits. Two of the proposals were verbal and
one was written. They were as follows:
1. Preferred Electric. Don Nadeau proposed $600 per
pole, totalling $1,800.
2. Keller Electric. Their proposal was a total of
$1,400.
3. SKS Electric. Their written proposal was $1,017.
At this point in time, I recommend that we award the bid to
SKS Electric and inform them to proceed as early as
possible.
DBH:kpv
Enclosure
Page 6
