MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />OCTOBER 8, 1992 <br />on adjacent properties. <br />Carson asked where the additional parking spaces would <br />go. <br />Hunting pointed out that this would be included on a <br />site plan. <br />Herkenhoff asked the plans for screening of outdoor <br />storage. <br />Olson replied that the trucks would not be visible <br />because of existing screening. <br />Drabik asked if the business would operate on this <br />property. <br />Olson replied that the house would be used as a office, <br />and equipment would be stored on the property. There <br />would not be customers coming to the location. <br />Carson asked about parking sports. <br />Olson anticipated the need for six parking spots, and <br />pointed out the large blacktopped area that currently <br />exists. <br />Drabik pointed out that the Planning Commission needs <br />to see this on a site plan. <br />Siebenaler pointed out that rather than sell the <br />property to a business, the property owners could <br />donate it to a non - profit agency and then the City <br />would get no property taxes from it. <br />DeLonais suggested that the Commission may have to <br />table this application until it receives a site plan. <br />Pedersen pointed out that the Commission is not saying <br />no, but rather that it needs certain information in <br />order to make a decision. <br />DeLonais stated that the Commission would like to see <br />this business locate in Little Canada, but a site plan <br />needs to be made a part of the record. <br />Herkenhoff read from the Planner's report the list of <br />items that need to be shown on the site plan. <br />Siebenaler asked if the property could be sold as a <br />home and the property owner then happen to have <br />business trucks stored on the property.
