McGuire began with
background information on her as well as listed the various committees
that she is either chairing or serving on.
McGuire reported that the County is currently working on its budget and
will have several proposals to the Legislature for the improvement of
roads. She also noted that the County has adopted a $10 wheelage tax
which is estimated to collect an additional $3.8 million dollars in revenue
each year which will be used to help speed up the over $26 million in
work that is needed on County roads. McGuire stated that she would
welcome input from Little Canada relative to needed work on County
roads in the City.
McGuire then pointed out the County's purchase of the TCAAP property
in Arden Hills.
