Olson <br />James f Engelhardt <br />We have reviewed costs associated with the placement of a new bituminous surface over the <br />existing subgrade. To install a "Full depth Bituminous Section" in accordance with standard <br />recommended design criteria would require the installation of a 711 bituminous mat. The <br />resulting improvement would be considered a 20 year life residential street. <br />For purposes of providing a lower cost but shorter life alternative, we've prepared a cost <br />estimate based on a 3.5 inch thick mat. The resulting Option 3 - Street Resurfacing is <br />considered equal to the Option 2 - Street Patch & Overlay option previously presented. <br />Option 3 - Street Resurfacing <br />Total Est. Proj.
