MINUTES
PLANNING COMMISSION
JULY 8, 1993
Schletty replied that there would not.
Garske asked who would be responsible for the
maintenance of the walkway.
Schletty reported that the walkway would be turned over
to the City, therefore, the City would be responsible
for its maintenance.
Keis asked about maintenance in the winter.
The Administrative Assistant reported that walkways and
trails are usually maintained during the winter when
there are requests by neighborhoods for such
maintenance.
Garske pointed out that the City should keep in mind
that the boardwalk will be a wooden platform that must
be maintained.
Keis stated that when the City makes park improvements
it should be with the idea that there will be enough
usage of the improvement to make the improvement
worthwhile. It was also reported that
the homes will be custom -built as the lots are sold.
Carson asked if any of the lots were located in the
Page 5
