MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />JUNE 10, 1993 <br />Keis asked if the radius for the cul -de -sac would be <br />large enough. <br />Doris Schletty estimated that cul -de -sac radius at 82 <br />feet. <br />The Planner estimated that preliminary plat drawings <br />would be reviewed at the July Planning Commission <br />meeting. <br />Mr. Carson recommended concept approval of the <br />Fredrickshaven Second Addition based on the <br />recommendation of the City Planner as contained in his <br />June 7, 1993 report. <br />Motion seconded by Garske. <br />Motion carried 6 - 0. Mr. Schletty abstained. <br />MITCHELL The City Planner reported that Mr. Pratt has verbally <br />PROPERTY - requested that Pratt Homes' concept development <br />PRATT proposal of the Mitchell property be postponed until <br />HOMES July Planning Commission meeting. <br />Mr. DeLonais recommended that the concept development <br />review of the Pratt Homes proposal for the Mitchell <br />property be tabled until the July 8, 1993 Planning <br />Commission meeting. <br />Motion seconded by Keis. <br />Motion carried 7 - 0. <br />Keis asked if Vadnais Heights had been contacted <br />regarding the Pratt Homes' proposal to develop the <br />Vadnais Heights portion of the site. <br />DeLonais reported that he and the Mayor had met with <br />Vadnais Heights officials and no proposal has been <br />submitted to the City as of yet. <br />Keis reported that he has discussed the proposal with <br />some of the Twin Lake Trail property owners and their <br />concern is single- family versus multi - family as well as <br />the issue of control of access in and out of the area <br />and the lake. <br />Carson pointed out the potential for numerous docks on <br />the lake under a single - family proposal versus one dock <br />under a townhome proposal. <br />Keis reported that the property owners are concerned <br />Page 9 <br />
