MINUTES <br />Parks & Recreation Commission <br />May 20, 1993 <br />FIELD The Director indicated that he has established a Field Usage <br />USAGE Policy that he would like the Commission to adopt this <br />POLICY evening. <br />He indicated that there are 44 youth teams that are using <br />our facilities this year. All those teams play two nights <br />per week either Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and <br />Thursday. The fields are reserved for them for <br />approximately eleven weeks during the summer. There are <br />also 23 adult teams that all play one night per week either <br />Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. The fields are reserved for <br />them for approximately thirteen weeks during the summer. <br />This year, half of the Wednesday night adult league has been <br />moved off Pioneer Park to the Eli fields complex. The <br />Director indicated that Wednesday night has been the busiest <br />night over the last year at Pioneer Park. The remaining <br />three fields at Pioneer Park will be used for children's <br />softball and baseball on Wednesdays. <br />-9- Page 67 <br />
