MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />August 12, 1993 <br />PRELIMINARY <br />& FINAL <br />PLAT - <br />GREEN VALUE <br />ADDITION <br />Keis and Schletty agreed, again commenting on the fact <br />that the property was well- maintained. <br />Mr. Schletty recommended approval of the property <br />division for 154 Old County Road C as requested by Mr. <br />Engebretson without the requirement for removal of the <br />lean -to attached to the existing garage as recommended <br />by the City Planner. <br />Motion seconded by Keis. <br />Motion carried 7 - 0. <br />The Commission reviewed the preliminary and final plat <br />for the Green Value Addition. DeLonais asked if there <br />was to be dedication of a trail easement from the <br />cul -de -sac to the west. <br />Keis indicated that the Parks and Recreation Commission <br />would address the issue of park dedication. <br />The City Planner reported that the final plat has just <br />been submitted this evening, however, it appears to be <br />in compliance with the preliminary plat. <br />Schletty asked about reference to the fact that a <br />corner lot did not meet size requirements. <br />The City Planner indicated that after further review, <br />he has determined that the corner lot meets minimum <br />size requirements. <br />Drabik pointed out that when this plat was presented a <br />couple of years ago, the City made some requirements <br />with regard to storm drainage. <br />The Administrative Assistant reported that the storm <br />sewer work previously required is currently under <br />construction and nearly completed. <br />Keis asked about a street stub to the east. <br />The City Planner replied that due to the topography of <br />the area, a street stub to the east would not be <br />feasible. <br />Knudsen recommended approval of the preliminary and <br />final plat for the Green Value Addition subject to <br />staff review of the final plat, subject to compliance <br />_ -with the recommendations of the City Planner as <br />contained in his August 6, 1993 report, and subject to <br />compliance with the recommendations of the Park and <br />Page 7 <br />
