Sculley admitted that he brought the fill
in without a permit, since he had the opportunity to
get some fill for free. Sculley estimated that he has
not brought in more than 250 yards of fill. Plans are
to construct the garage on the filled area.
Drabik asked how much property Mr. Sculley owned.
The Planner replied that the Sculley site consists of
26.56 acres. The Planner pointed out that in the
application form Mr. Sculley refers to a 2.3 acre site.
However, there has been no lot split of the 26.56 acre
site.
Sculley replied that he plans to purchase an adjacent
2.3 acre site.
Drabik asked if the City needed to be concerned about
the future development of the site and consider the
effect of placement of the garage on future
development.
The City Planner did not believe that was necessary at
this point.
DeLonais asked if there was anyone from the general
public present wishing to comment on this matter.
Mrs. Hillbeck, 2970 LaBore Road, asked about the
placement of the garage.
It was pointed out to Mrs. Hillbeck that Mr. Sculley is
proposing to construct the garage approximately 33 feet
from his garage.
Carson noted that City setback requirements must be
met, the Planning Commission is only considering the
CUP to allow a garage larger than 1,000 square feet.
Garske stated that he would like to see the quansit
hut removed.
Keis pointed out that the 1,200 garage being requested
by Mr. Sculley is a huge building which will be located
.right on LaBore Road.
Page 11
