The space would also
be used by customers coming to the site to pick up
their purchases.
Keis pointed out that there are currently a lot of
semi - trailers parked adjacent to this area.
Kaufman replied that this is why Slumberland is
requesting the semi - trailer parking area. Kaufman
reported that the business has grown and there is the
need for additional parking.
Drabik asked if a cap were ever imposed on the number
of semi - trailers that would be allowed on the site.
The City Planner replied that semi - trailer parking is
based on the square footage of the building. The
Planner pointed out that the building has been added on
to, therefore, additional semi - trailer parking is
allowed.
Keis indicated that there are 3 or 4 piles of dirt on
the site.
Eric Hagman, Hagman Construction, indicated that the
dirt piles are the result of some repair work that was
done. However,
the landscaped area on the west is low, therefore, the
landscaping is not as beneficial as it could be.
- Kaufman suggested that the existing berm on the
property be continued on to the west and the
Page 13
