MINUTES PLANNING COMMISSION SEPTEMBER 9, 1993 well maintained. Keis asked about traffic. Jones reported that traffic to the site would increase slightly, but indicated that traffic to a mini - storage is generally low volume. Keis recommended approval of the amendment to PUD to allow the construction of an additional mini - storage building on the site at 55 East County Road B as requested by Two S Properties subject to compliance with the recommendations of the City Planner as contained in his report dated September 3, 1993. Motion seconded by Drabik. Motion carried 5 - 0. TRUSCOTT Mr. Ron Truscott, 335 Rose Lane, appeared before the PROPERTY Commission requesting approval of a property division DIVISION which would adjust the rear lot line of Lot 6, making Lot 6 larger, and eliminating the "L- shape" to Lot 7. It was pointed out that the proposal conforms to all minimum lot size and setback requirements. Schletty recommended approval of the Truscott property division for Lots 6 and 7, Block 1, St. John's Little Canada Heights, as requested by Ron Truscott subject to the recommendations of the City Planner as contained in his report dated September 3, 1993. Motion seconded by Keis. Motion carried 5 - 0. VARIANCE Mr. Gordie Howe, Masterpiece Homes, appeared before the MASTERPIECE Commission requesting a variance to allow a five foot HOMES sideyard setback on a single - family lot located at 2451 Sunrise Drive. Howe reported that he had discussed with the Planner having the variance occur on the north property line, but would now like to see the variance on the south property line. The reason for switching to the south property line is to save some existing pine trees near the north line. Keis reported that he discussed the variance with the property owner on the south, who indicated that he was happy to see the variance on the north. That property owner is not present this evening, therefore, is unaware of the change being proposed. Page 5
