CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />UNIFORM FIRE CODE /LIFE SAFETY CODE <br />The City of Little Canada's Inspection Service will be <br />conducting inspections of commercial, industrial, and <br />residential properties in our City. These inspections are <br />intended to be consistent with nationally recognized <br />standards. Your participation will assist in the <br />safeguarding of lives and property from the hazards of fire <br />and explosion arising from the storage, handling, or use of <br />hazardous substances, materials, and devices. <br />The intent of the Uniform Fire Code is to provide <br />regulations consistent with nationally recognized good <br />practice for the safeguarding of life and property from <br />hazards of fire and explosion arising from the storage, <br />handling and use of hazardous substances, materials and <br />devices, and from conditions hazardous to life or property <br />in the use or occupancy of buildings. <br />The Uniform Fire Code regulations shall apply to all <br />existing and new installation, as well as to conditions <br />arising after, and shall apply to all persons without <br />restrictions, and to other applications that are applicable <br />in nationally recognized codes. <br />The purpose of this correspondence is to provide you with a <br />general check -off list. It is your responsibility to <br />comply with these Codes, and give notification to the City <br />of Little Canada that you have completed this list where <br />Code sections are applicable. <br />We appreciate your cooperation.
