Wilson requested an opinion by our office whether or not the commitments
you made in your letter dated November 2, 1993 are binding on the City of Little Canada
(see photocopy of letter enclosed).
Our client does not want these matters to be a mere representation of what the City of
Little Canada plans to do; but rather, that the key points outlined in your letter of
November 2, 1993, are a binding commitment in respect to the City of Little Canada.
Would you please present the content of your letter to the governing council of the City of
Little Canada at its next regular meeting; and then reconunend that the council, by motion,
adopt your representations as a binding conunitment of the City of Little Canada. After
the council has acted upon this request, then forward a copy of the council meeting minutes
and the vote thereon to our office.
The foregoing request would safeguard our client's concern, and Mrs. Wilson could then
be assured as to the City's responsibility in the restaking and restoration of her mother's
property.
Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
Sincerely,
ROWLAND & MERTENSOTTO, P.A.
11,4 f /E- C,,.za
Charles E.
