MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING
PLANNING COMMISSION
LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA
MAY 12, 1994
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular
meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of
Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 12th day of
May, 1994 in the Council Chambers of the City Center
located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City.
Chairman Gene DeLonais called the meeting to order at
7:30 P.M. and the following members of the Commission
were present at roll call:
MEMBERS PRESENT: Mr. Gene DeLonais
Mr. Denny Davison
Mr. Steve Garske
Mr. Dan Knudsen
Mr. Fred Schletty
MEMBERS EXCUSED: Mr. Dennis Carson
Mr. John Keis
ALSO PRESENT: Mr. Cary Teague, City Planner
Mrs. Kathy Glanzer, Admin. Asst.
MINUTES There being no corrections to the minutes of April 14,
1994, the minutes stood approved as submitted.
VARIANCE Mr. Kevin Keenan appeared before the Commission
FOR LOT requesting approval of a Variance to allow
WITHOUT construction of a house on a lot without frontage
STREET on an improved road. Keenan reported that he would
FRONTAGE - like to construct a house on Lots 10 and 11, Mason
KEENAN Manor, which is located at the end of the unimproved
Lake Street cul -de -sac. Access to the house would be
from LaBore Road with a driveway on the Lake Street
right -of -way. The road right -of -way is currently being
used as a driveway for an adjacent property, and Keenan
indicated that he would have to extend the existing
driveway about 20 feet to access his property. Keenan
stated that it would be too expensive to put the street
in for this one house.
Davison asked who owned Lots 8 and 9 which abut the
Lake Street right -of -way.
1
Page 3
