and will probably have difficulty surviving on this
corner. Run over parking onto the adjacent property
may also be a problem.
5 Traffic - SuperAmerica is well aware of the existing
traffic conditions. There is no question that traffic
is congested during peak hours. However, SuperAmerica
should not generate more traffic during peak hours.
Our type of business feeds off existing traffic and if
people can not get off our lot during peak hours, they
simply will not do business with us at that time. In
addition, it is very unlikely that SuperAmerica will
draw traffic off the freeway during rush hour. When
people are on the freeway going home from work, it is
very unlikely that they will interrupt their trip to
get gas /convenience items and then get back on the
freeway to go home.
SuperAmerica would very much like to operate a store to serve
the residents of Little Canada. SuperAmerica's record for
service and quality speaks for itself as well as our site
selection. SuperAmerica and myself are more than willing to
work with the City and answer any questions they may have.
It is our hope that you would look favorably to our request.
Respectfully,
Andrew J.
