Hanson <br />As you know, Denise Windish had approached the City regarding the <br />use of Pioneer Park for a fund - raising tournament. Denise <br />contacted me this morning to withdraw her request. The reason <br />for the withdrawal is the cost involved in putting on such a <br />tournament, including liquor liability and general liability <br />insurance costs, the cost of incorporating as a non - profit so <br />that she could have a raffle and bingo at the tournament, as well <br />as State Laws governing the how gambling proceeds are used. <br />Denise thanked the City and Staff for their time and attention to <br />her request. <br />Page 235 <br />
