MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />AUGUST 11, 1994 <br />Monson replied that the storage will be fenced and <br />paved, and the construction materials currently on the <br />site will be enclosed in that fenced storage area. <br />Davison asked if the amount of materials stored will be <br />increased. <br />Monson replied that there would be no increase. The <br />storage area proposed is 25 feet by 40 feet. <br />The City Planner reported that according to the <br />ordinance requirements the fencing around the storage <br />area must be screened. <br />Keis asked if the weeds on the property would be cut. <br />Monson replied that the weeds were cut about a week <br />ago. <br />Monson pointed out that the storage area will be <br />constructed in an overflow parking area. However, the <br />site still has adequate parking area. <br />There was no one from the general public present <br />wishing to comment on this matter. <br />Carson recommended approval of the Conditional Use <br />Permit to allow open and outdoor storage of <br />construction materials in the I -P Zoning District as <br />requested by Gardner Bros. Homes for their site located <br />at 450 East County Road D subject to compliance with <br />the recommendations of the City Planner as contained in <br />his report dated July 12, 1994. <br />Motion seconded by Keis. <br />Motion carried 6 - 0. <br />CUP FOR Mr. Dean Hedlund appeared before the Commission <br />SECOND GARAGE requesting approval of a Conditional Use Permit to <br />DEAN HEDLUND allow the construction of a second garage accessory to <br />his single - family home at 655 Keller Parkway. Hedlund <br />reported that he currently has an attached garage, <br />however, it is not sufficient for the storage he needs. <br />Hedlund reported that his property consists of 1 1/3 <br />acres. The second garage would be used for seasonal <br />storage and the garage would be accessed by driving <br />8 <br />
