MINUTES <br />City Council <br />May 28, 1986 <br />Time <br />Property <br />Division <br />(cont.) <br />Storm Sewer <br />District <br />Imp. 84 -13 <br />Agenda <br />Item No. 13 <br />Fahey suggested that Mr. Tima come back to the Council with a <br />proposal for a cul -de -sac that would meet City Code insofar as <br />setbacks are concerned. Fahey stated that he was willing to <br />grant some variance on the size of the cul -de -sac as it would <br />serve only two lots. <br />Mr. Daubney requested that the matter be referred to the Planner <br />and the Engineer. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 86 -5 -215 - DIRECTING THE <br />CITY ENGINEER AND PLANNER TO WORK WITH <br />MR. TIMA TO DEVELOP AN ACCEPTABLE CUL -DE -SAC <br />PROPOSAL THAT WOULD MEET ORDINANCE REQUIREMENTS AND <br />CITY NEEDS FOR A TURN AROUND, BUT NOT NECESSARILY <br />ADHERING TO ORDINANCE REQUIREMENTS ON SIZE DUE <br />TO THE UNIQUENESS OF THE PROPERTY AND THAT ONLY <br />ONE NEW HOME WOULD BE AFFECTED BY THE CUL -DE -SAC <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Ms. Nardini. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Nardini, Collova, Blesener, Scalze. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 15, Pages 214 and 215. <br />Fahey pointed out that at the May 13, 1986 meeting Council tabled <br />action on the Storm Sewer District proposal until the May 28 meeting. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 86 -5 -216 - BRINGING TO <br />TABLE THE CITY ENGINEER'S PROPOSED <br />STORM SEWER DISTRICT IMPROVEMENT N0. 84 -13 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Ms. Nardini. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Nardini, Fahey, Blesener, Collova. <br />Nays (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 15, Page 216. <br />Mr. Fahey reported that after the Council acts on the proposed <br />storm sewer improvements, he would like to have a workshop on <br />the various improvements to discuss the best way to finance <br />the projects and the priorities of the various projects. <br />Page -14- <br />Page 34 <br />
