MINUTES
PLANNING COMMISSION
OCTOBER 13, 1994
the Comprehensive Plan update process that this
property as well as the credit union property be
rezoned to RB.
Mr. Keis recommended approval of the rezoning of 2626
McMenemy Road from B -3 to RB as recommended by the City
Planner in his report dated October 10, 1994.
Motion seconded by Garske.
Motion carried 5 - 0.
PROPERTY Mr. Fred Schletty requested approval of a property
DIVISION - division for Lot 2, Block 2, Frederickshaven Second
SCHLETTY Addition. Schletty reported that what he is actually
proposing is to move the lot line over making Lot 2,
Block 2 a larger lot. Schletty felt this would be an
enhancement to the area since the owner of Lot 2, Block
2 would like to do some landscaping and beautification
of the property.
Schletty pointed out the City Planner's concern for
snow plowing, and pointed out that he has plowed his
driveway for many years and has not had a problem.
Schletty also stated that drainage would not be an
issue.
Schletty also pointed out that adjusting the lot line
will leave him with a 17 foot driveway access for his
property. This will ensure that the remainder of his
property is not developed in the future. The City
Planner has commented on the need for a 24 foot
driveway access.
Schletty requested that the property division be
approved as proposed since the result would be a better
landscaped area and protection from future development
of the remainder of his property.
Mr. Keis recommended approval of the property division
as requested by Mr. Schletty as presented.
Motion seconded by Davison.
Motion carried 3 - 0. Messrs. Schletty and Garske
abstained.
7
